On behalf of the SEAADE Council, I want to invite you, as well as all colleagues interested in dental education, to participate in the 15th Annual Meeting of the South East Asia Association for Dental Education that will be held jointly with the19th Annual Meeting of the International Association for Dental Research (South East Asian Division) in Koh Samui, Thailand.

The theme for this year's meeting is "A New Paradigm in Oral Health Science Education and Research" with prominent speakers to provide stimulating food for thought, so that we, as educators in oral health can gear up to meet current changes locally and globally. At the meeting educators and researchers can come together to re-think the future for Oral Health care for the people. At our last year's successful and fruitful 14th Annual meeting in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam the theme was "Think globally, Act locally!" It is very appropriate that this year's meeting will help us to a Paradigm Shift in Oral Health Education and Research. The programme of the meeting will consist of the Deans' meeting as well as the SEAADE council business meeting along with the Scientific and poster sessions. The Deans' meeting will be a platform not only for the Deans, Associate Deans and administrators of the Dental schools but it will be also a place for those who have been involved in educating new generations in the Oral Health field to meet and share their common problems and experiences in education and research.
