President SEAADE

The 2006 meeting of the South East Asian Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) will be held in conjunction with the KPPIKG fourteenth meeting of Indonesia.

It is to be hosted by the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Indonesia from the 13t to 16th September, 2006 at the Jakarta Convention Center.

This year's theme "Towards achieving international standard of dental professionalism and education" is very appropriate as the Dental schools in this region strive for improved standards in dental education and professionalism in the dental field.

There will be ample opportunities for dental educators and researchers to meet up at the 2 - day program organized for you. There will be the usual Dean's Forum and Heads of Institution meeting besides the main symposium where we will have invited keynote speakers, free paper and poster sessions. This will be held for participants to share their findings on issues in Dental Education and Research of their dental schools and countries. This sharing of information and expertise is unique in this part of the world.

As we try to improve our international standing, May I invite all of you to participate in this meeting.

Free papers and poster exhibits are most welcome. Further information on the meeting will be posted at Local Organizing Committee website and the SEAADE website at URL: www.seaade.org.
