On behalf of the SEAADE council I extend to you a very warm invitation to the 16th Annual Meeting of the South East Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) that will be held in conjunction with the 20th IADR (SEA) division meeting in Malacca.

As with all previous meetings this year's program will again be a very interesting one for all Dental Educators. Besides the Educational Symposium and Dean's Forum, there will be poster and oral presentations. Speakers both locally and overseas will be participating. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all dental academics and educators to this meeting.

SEAADE has grown as an international body over the years and has currently more than twenty institutional member dental schools in the organization. Some of the current activities that we will be embarking besides peer visitation will be an online dental education bulletin to be mounted on our website. This will allow an exchange of dental education ideas to be shared amongst the different dental schools in this region. The organization remains the premier platform for cooperation in the field of dental education in this part of the world.
