On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, I wish to invite you to the joint 16th SEAADE and 20th IADR SEA Division Annual Meetings that will be held on 1 - 4 September 2005 in one of the most interesting and historical city in Malaysia - Malacca! It is easily accessed by road. It takes about an hour to reach it by taxi from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The theme for this year's meeting is "Innovation in Dental Education and Research". We have lined up a spectacular array of speakers for a stimulating scientific session. There are also workshops scheduled on 1st September 2005 besides the usual Deans' and Institutional Members' Meeting. For the first time this year, we are introducing Lunch and Learning Sessions to provide further learning, information and facilitate networking in 6 interesting topics from various fields of research.

The Local Organising Committee has also planned an informal outdoor event with good food and a "Sarong Party" theme for you to relax and have fun on the evening of 2nd September. The next evening will be a formal Gala Dinner in the hotel ballroom with entertainment.
