Dear members of the IADR and friends,

On behalf of the IADR Southeast Asian Division Council, I extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the 20th Annual Meeting of our Division.

The beautiful historic city of Malacca in the Malaysian Peninsula is chosen as the venue of our Annual Meeting in 2005 during which we will celebrate the 20th birthday of this young and vivid Division of the big IADR family. Our Division has grown, steadily from a membership of around 50 when it was established 20 years ago to the present size of .more than 400 members.

The Local Organizing Committee under the leadership of Prof. Toh Chooi Gait has put together a very rich program, in both the scientific and the social aspects. I can assure you that you will find participation in this meeting very stimulating intellectually and very enjoyable in the excellent fraternal atmosphere. Of course, the world-famous hospitality of the people in our region will always prevail.

The IADR SEA Division Meeting has long been an important international annual function for dental researchers and the dental industry. You are most cordially invited to make your own presentation in our 2005 Meeting in early September, and to attend the "20th birthday party" of our Division.
