SEAADE Peer Review and Visitation program to Centro Escolar University , College of Dentistry, July 1-4, 2005

A SEAADE Peer review and visitation program was conducted by SEAADE on July 1-4, 2005 to the Centro Escolar University, College of Dentistry of the Philippines. A panel of four review members conducted the review visitation.

It reviewed the status of the educational programs, staff and facilities of the Institution.

The Committee comprises:

• Prof TOH Chooi Gait (Chairman), University of Malaya
• Assoc Prof KENG Siong Beng (President, SEAADE and member) NUS, Singapore
• Prof Fred Smales (Rapporteur), Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology, Malaysia
• Prof Margaret B Comfort, (member), AIM, ST, Malaysia

There was full cooperation by the administration on all aspects of the dental curriculum, management and documents review.

The state of the facilities provided by the College of Dentistry was also examined.

The team also met up with various segments of the central administration, students and staff of CEU.

The Dean of the Dental College Dr Maria Jona D Godoy hosted the visitors.

It was a very fruitful and successful first Peer Review and Consultation program by SEEADE.
